Karen Davies
Karen graduated from Liverpool Polytechnic with a BSc. (Hons) Sport Science degree. She then spent the next 20+ years running a group of health clubs for one of the largest hotel chains in the world. In 2006, she ran away and joined the world of theatre where she toured with large scale musicals and worked in London’s West End. Now back in Norwich, she has been at Sportlink since September 2020.
Karen has always been into her sport and was one of the founding players of Lakenham Hewett Ladies Rugby Team. Naturally very speedy, Karen was initially a 100m and 200m sprinter, but now that the legs have lost their zip, she prefers longer distances.
Her proudest and most emotional event was the 2017 London Marathon which she ran in memory of her father.
